Jonathan Meeting PDP Governors And Candidates

President Goodluck Jonathan March 2, Monday, held a closed-door with the governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). <--!more--> Also the candidates running on the platform of the party in the April 11 elections were present at the meeting, Vanguard reports. The event was said to have started around 5:30pm at the new banquet hall of the presidential Villa, Abuja, and was still in process at the time of the article publication. While the official information is yet to be provided on the issue, it is believed it might be connected with the preparation for the upcoming general polls. Punch adds that the meeting is in continuation of Jonathan’s ongoing consultations ahead of the presidential elections scheduled for March 28.
